If you have any sort of Amazon Prime subscription (Amazon Prime Video counts!), then you certainly have Twitch Prime.

Twitch Prime offers you many benefits such as free emotes, a free monthly sub (tier 1) to any streamer of your choice, plenty of free in-game loot and benefits, more options for chat settings, and an exclusive Twitch Prime Badge next to your name in chat.

Furthermore, if you stream, you will be able to store your VODs for 60 days instead of the standard 14.

Twitch Prime is an additional premium benefit that costs you nothing extra. After all, it is bundled with your Amazon Prime subscription. However, you may still want to cancel Twitch Prime for one reason or another. This guide will show you how to do just that.

Cancelling Twitch Prime

If you have tried Twitch Prime and whatever benefits it provides and you have decided for some reason that it is not for you, here is what you need to do:

Disconnect your Amazon Prime account from your Twitch account.

Doing this is really easy – all you have to do is go to the settings page of your account.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Once you have logged in to your account, click on your profile picture or icon on the top right of your screen. In the resulting drop-down menu, click on Settings.

2. In your settings page, click on the “Connections” tab.

3. From there, scroll to “Recommended Connections” and find Amazon. Click the Disconnect button and your Twitch Prime will be disabled without you having to cancel your Amazon Prime!

How to Cancel Your Twitch Prime Subscription

Canceling Twitch Prime is incredibly easy. However, if you are wondering how to cancel just your Twitch Prime sub (tier 1 subscription to any streamer of your choice) specifically, unfortunately, there is no way to do that.

You will have to wait for the monthly subscription to run out, at which point you can change your subscription to any other streamer you prefer.

If you’re looking to unsub from a Tier 1, 2, or 3, then here’s how to cancel your Twitch subscription.

There you go! You now know how to cancel Twitch Prime.
