So you’re looking to add a bit of flair and fun to your stream using GIFs are ya?
In this quick guide we’ll show you all the best sources for getting GIFs for Streamlabs so you can up your streams production game.
Where to Get GIFs for Streamlabs
Thankfully finding GIFs isn’t too hard with the help of a few popular websites that focus solely on sourcing millions of animated GIFs in an easy-to-use library.
Best of all, most of them are free and easily downloadable.
Here are the main sites you can use for GIFS for your stream:
All four of these sites are very similar in how you interact with them in order to sort through and find the perfect GIF you’re after.
Simply type your main keyword(s) in the search bar at the top, and you’ll be presented with a bunch of GIFs you can add to Streamlabs that match your criteria.
Donation GIFs
So for example if you’re looking for specific donation GIFs for Streamlabs that have some sort of monetary theme to them, try typing “money” into the search bar.
You’ll find GIFs like this:
And this:
Transparent GIFs
Or if you’re wanting your Streamlabs GIFs to be transparent, then try adding the keyword “transparent” after your main keyword search. So in our example, “money transparent” will get you GIFs like these:
Downloadable GIFs for Streamlabs
Once you’ve found a GIF you want to start using for your Twitch or YouTube stream you’ll first need to download it to your computer.
GIFER – they have a “download GIF” button next to the image itself.
Tenor – you can right click the GIF and click “Save image as..”.
Gfycat – there is no official method for downloading the images as GIFs. You can right click the video and save it as an MP4, but then you’ll run into issues with looping the video.
So I’d recommend using the other sites first, but if you find something you like on Gfycat, then save the MP4 video onto your computer, then use a site like EZGIF to convert the MP4 into a GIF.
GIPHY – just like Tenor, you can right click and “Save image as..”.
Just make sure to respect any copyright guidelines from the site and/or GIF artists.
GIFs for Streamlabs Alerts
If you’re wanting to use these GIFs for your alerts in Streamlabs whenever somebody donates, follows your stream, etc. then you definitely can!
You can also try stream graphics specific sites if you’re looking for something a little more flashy and sophisticated.
Nerd or Die has some good animated alerts you can check out here.
Or OWN3D PRO also has a good selection of alerts as well.
They’re not technically GIFs, but definitely a fun option to think about if you’re wanting to get a more customized design.
